We want to hear from you
Local Music Live brings together lots of UK radio stations who love their music LOCAL. Singers, musicians and bands have been loading up their audio, video, pictures, gigs and information and we’ve been working hard to spread the word far and wide.
We're delighted to announce that Local Music Live is now a Sunday night radio show. From 1st October until Xmas Eve 2017 the show can be heard on five radio stations. These are Revolution 96.2 in Oldham, Rochdale and Tamside, Mansfield 103.2 in Mansfield, Sutton and Bolsover Bolton FM, Great Yorkshire Radio in North Yorkshire and Radio Yorkshire in West Yorkshire. The talented singer/songwriter will now record a new track "Head Over Heels" at Redwall Studios in Greater Manchester and create a music video to support her new track with Leeds-based creative agency, Harris. Chosing the favourite wasn't an easy decision, as the quality of the artists was so high, it took lots of deliberation.That’s why we've decided to highlight some of the other talented singers and bands that caught our eye as part of Local Music Live. Each of these artists will also receive a prize courtesy of our sponsors Howarth Timber.

For the Girl is a five-piece indie pop rock band from Nottingham made up of lead singer Sam Plenty, guitarists Josh King and Isaac Hallas, bassist James Wells, and drummer Foxy. With their blend of different styles For the Girl has a sound that is unique and we’re sure you’ll see them popping up on festival bills around the UK very soon. We’re sure we’re not the only ones who spotted Niamh, a talented singer/songwriter from Skipton. Her beautiful piano-backed ballads are the perfect fit for her wonderful vocal style, and we’re excited to see what’s next for this gifted teenager. Click HERE for her page on Local Music Live.
Finally, Frankie may be one of the youngest artists to submit her music to Local Music Live, but it was her clever lyrics and catchy melodies that made her stand out.
