Ashley Sherlock

Ashley Sherlock is a Manchester-based singer/songwriter citing his inspirations as Jeff Buckley, Allen Stone, The Cadillac Three, Radiohead, Hozier and JP Cooper. His original material has been recognized internationally, with the signing of his recording and management contract with Beanix Entertainment (US). Working alongside producer Kenneth Nixon (of Framing Hanley fame) and Sumner Roots, Ashley’s newly released material, recorded in Nashville, Tennessee, presents a modern outlook on the sounds of the deep south; combined with his fantastic vocal range and accessible songwriting style, Ashley's music is the complete product for a wide variety of audiences.

After several years, and hundreds of gigs performing as a solo artist, Ashley Sherlock has now formed a full band, and has been working on an album of new material. Their fantastic blend of gritty blues, falsetto vocal melodies and a jazz/funk-inspired rhythm section creates a sound that is highly appealing to all that hear it, and makes for a very captivating live show. The 21 Year old musician has performed live alongside acclaimed artists such as JP Cooper, Union J, Matt Terry, The New York Tourists, and Aziz Ibrahim (Ian Brown, Stone Roses, Simply Red) as well as many festival slots.

Due to his incredible work ethic, Ashley is rapidly gaining a huge presence in the UK music scene, and this rise is only projected to continue following the release of his new EP and music video in late 2017. Ashley is always on the lookout for new bands to perform alongside with and collaborate with - for Ashley, playing music is as much a hobby as it is a means of getting out and meeting as many people as he can - so feel free to get in touch!
