Elastic Waste

ELASTIC WASTE are a three-piece band originally from Liversedge, West Yorkshire.

With Lewis Collinson smashing the guitar and vocals, Jason Collinson taking care of business on bass and vocals, and Matty Barrett rocking it out on the drums, ELASTIC WASTE is inspired by a number of different bands, writing and performing their own fresh brand of pop-punk.

The boys list their musical influences as bands including Blink 182, Brand New, NOFX, Green Day, Jimmy Eat World and Sum 41. While travelling in Australia, brothers Lewis and Jason began writing and playing music together.

Upon their return to West Yorkshire, they brought Matty on board with the beats, and ELASTIC WASTE was born. They only play when it's a full moon....or if they’re asked to, and enjoy long walks on the beach and free hugs. Their live shows should not be missed because they WILL rock your socks off. #BringSpareSocks
