Rujiero is an independent singer/songwriter who writes music to give that 'very laid back' sound described by DJ Dapper Dan, the "John Peel" of Reggae as "Soul and Roots music Founded in Reggae. Many of the songs are bass-line led melodies ranging from soulful-acoustic guitar ballads through to a true roots rock reggae production. Rujiero writes music across multiple subjects from contemporary popular music to memories of the beautiful UK coastline, of people, life, culture and consciousness.
Rujiero had his first appearance on the radio as guest artist on Bournemouth Community Station HopeFM in February 2016 and he has made appearances as featured artist on Bristols Passion Rb 'Mettisse Sessions' Radio show and the Skankin Delights Reggae Radio Show in 2017 featuring on MIXCLOUD. Recent international achievements are is his first airplay in the USA on TurnitupBigtime.com Radio of LasVagas Nevada and on Banks Radio Canberra Australia. He also has recently sent across tracks to BBC INTRODUCING. He has played support on many occasions locally for Internationally Acclaimed Grammy Award Winning and USA Billboard Reggae Chart topping Roots Artist MISHKA, on his visits to the UK. Mishka has appeared on the BBC RADIO ONE REGGAE SHOW and has worked with many top international acts. Rujiero said it was an "absolute pleasure" to play support for such an incredible singer songwriter and established artist. Rujiero has played both small and larger music festivals with his career highlight being the 'BEACH SESSIONS' at the 2016 Boardmasters Surf and Skate Festival (the second largest UK Music Festival) on Fistral Beach, Newquay Cornwall, England.
